Small and interesting details in Korea

During my stay in Korea I took a lot of photos not only on tourist attractions but also on things that I thought were strange, funny, interesting etc. Here are some of my favourites, many of them did not come on picture though (this are just a small piece of all cool things that I saw!)

A funny Apple inspired apartment building just beside PNU campus
This is the runningway under the Busan metro, it stretches very very far(it's just a small part of the metrosystem that are actually above ground). The length, soft running material and all the badminton-, basket-fields and gyms along the road makes this an ideal place to work out.

The thing that surprised me the most though was that during after some hard rain this place got totally waterfilled... It was literally a river after heavy rain!
This kind of doorlocks are standard in most Korea, it's an electric lock with a code the lock closes by itself after closing the door, very comfortable

Tv in the mobile, it seemed like all mobiles (except iPhone) had an antenna for radio and TV. A lot of people were following the baseball games on these devices wherever they were. Very comfortable
Bikeroad when going down in the metro. This is actually nothing speciall but everywhere there are this kind of small things which help you around during a normal day
Very comfortable chair
Bookingsystem for the library, here I book a seat in the library. In Sweden this kind of machine can be found when booking a cinematicket in the cinema

Outside footspa, this is a spa located in the public, no entrance fee no nothing! The water is boiling hot (actually I just took down my feet in the water for the picture)
The old guys got quite angry on me because I didn't bring a towel to dry my feet.
This is before my football game with in the PNU championship. Instead of just shaking hands with everyone before the game (as we do in Sweden) we bowed to eachother and wished eachother good luck and later we shaked hands.
One very very comfortable bus sign in Seoul. This one tells when the bus arrives (for instance bus 9703 will arrive in 2 min). The calcuations are made from sensors that keep an eye on the amount of traffic and other circumstances that could affect the time.

This is a similar bus sign in Busan, the bus position can be seen on the screen and approximate arrival time is also shown. Same kind of screens exists in the subways (both in Seoul and Busan)
Subway entrance in Seoul, almost each station has a protecting glass wall from the tracks (both in Busan and Seoul) and each of the entrances are marked with wagon number and wagon door (for instance on this picture I stand by wagon 10, door 2). This has a very good function because it marks where the special seats are (for disabled, old people, parents with a child etc.)
Electric doors which open with only a light push on a button, this one is between the wagons in the subway, but these are standardised in Korea and can be found in supermarket stores etc.
The stairway to my apartment during my stay in Seoul. It was so tiny and small that I blessed god each time I survived walking on it (especially during rainy weather)
These things are on many roads in Korea. My friend almost fell on this "stupid" thing on the streets (we called it "stupid" before we knew what it was for). I later found out that it actually keeps the streets wet for better air etc.
A funny icecream, peachy icecubes, very good during a hot summerday in Seoul

These last three pictures are actually from Tokyo
Very smart toilet. This toilet has the tap located on it, after flushing the toilet the toilet refills and at it does so through this tap. It saves both space and water resources.
A self opening window, very comfortable. This one is on my hostel in Tokyo
The amount of space is a big issue in Tokyo therefore they have this kind of parking lots where car are hoisted above you in order to save some extra space. Bicycles are sometimes also parked like this
