An awesome trip to Gyeongju!

 Departure from Busan
It was a marathon in Gyeongju this morning, notice the screaming trainer on the moped
On the way to Bulguksa temple, hot dog with samurai sword
 The entrance to Bulguksa temple
 On of the ponds

 The temple
Inside the temple, the stone structures which you can see are called Pagodas

There were a lot of these kind of buildings inside the temple
The roof inside one of the buildings
 The view from the balcony
 Inside one of the buildings
All the exchangestudents who went there

It gives you luck to put stones like this

Notice the bell inside the building
The Seokguram cave (where the buddhastaty of granite) is located very high, this is the way there
The bell building on the top of the mountain
The buddha statue made from granite
A little market on the top of the mountain, beside us we have the bell building
That is the location of the bell building
It turned dark before we arrive to Anapji pond, which were quite good, because it looks very cool in the dark

In the weekend most of the exchange students went to the old capital of an old Korean kingdom, Gyeongju. The city is located approximately 1h with bus from Busan, we arrived at 10 and returned home around 22, it was a long day with other words... The planned places to visit were Bulguksa templeSeokguram cave, and Anapji pond. The Bulguksa temple is considered as one of the buddhists masterpieces, Seokguram cave contains one of the worlds most beautiful buddhastatues made of granite. Anapji pond belonged to one of the old rulers from the ancient kingdom which existed from 57 B.C to 935 A.D.
