Actually my blog is blocked in China, whole blogspot is blocked here..
So how can I blog then?
Well miraculously it is possible for me to put posts by using my blog application on my phone.
Today I took the bike on the streets of Beijing. Something that surprised me when I came here was the amount and widths of the bicycle roads. There are bicycle roads everywhere and they are wider then the width for the cars! It's also very much people who use this way of transport which makes it very convenient to use it!
Today I saw Chairman Maos mausoleum and later stopped by a very nice park! The last pics are form the flag ceremony
My name is Konstantin and I have just finished my studies at the Aeronautical Engineerings program in Linköping University, Sweden. Now I am studying german and doing an internship in Cologne, Germany. In this blog I write about my travelstories mixed with some of my areas of interest which are culture, history and technology. Earlier this was my blog about my exchangestudies in South Korea, 2013 and later about Skandinavian travel. Which explains why a lot of the earlier posts are about this.

Beijing, last stop of my trip
It took only five hours with an express train to reach Beijing from Shanghai! Shenzhen to Shanghai took 18 hours (distance is almost the same).
The train experience on this train was definitely different from the first one. This train was totally modern, traveling at 302 km/h most of the way without any inconvenience.
It has been raining a lot recently in Beijing, actually it is the biggest amount of rain in Beijing that has been measured ever, which makes it the biggest amount in 60 years (they started collecting data 60 years ago). A little rain will not stop me doing some sightseeing though ^_^
3 more days in Beijing then I'm traveling home!

Second last station, Shanghai
Shanghai is Chinas biggest city and it has the highest population in the world if you only look on the city population, almost 18 million people.
After 18 hours of train from Shenzhen I finally arrived to Shanghai! The train was a really cool experience where I encountered many different people, almost all of them Chinese of course. With my perfect Chinese I managed to talk with a lot of people... Even though we had quite a struggle to understand each other.
Maybe you think that it was impossible to sleep in the train due to noisy people and train but actually I slept 9 hours without interruption! So I left the train really relaxed.
The train have many different classes and I slept in the "Hard sleeper", actually it wasn't so hard as you may think. I could relax on one piece of wood with a really cozy wooden log as pillow ^_^... Just kidding.. Actually the beds were soft enough and I had some cozy bedclothes as well.
My train was delayed for three hours so I arrived at 10 instead of 7 am.
No time to spare as soon as I arrived to Shanghai! I have taken the Bustour through the city and the boat tour as well!

Stopping by Shenzhen
Recently I arrived to the Chinese city Shenzhen. Shenzhen is a Tomorrow I'll take the train from Shenzhen to Shanghai. Shenzhen is one of Chinas richest cities it is located just after leaving Hong Kong area. Just 40 years ago it was one small village in China, now it is one of Chinas most important cities, almost 11 million people live here. I just took the Hong Kong subway to the last station and there I crossed the border and I was in Shenzhen!
I'll take the train to Shanghai the 20th and I'll arrive the 21th so I'll spend almost one day in train!

Macau
One day was spent in the small nation of Macau, it is a old Portugese colony. I just took a ferry from Hong Kong for 1h and I was there. Macau is famous for it's casinos and the architecture. It was like being in Spain except so much Chinese people and all the Chinese shops, I really liked my stay there.
Now I'm leaving Hong Kong and Macau for Shengzhen from there I'll go to Shanghai!
